In order to CHANGE your life you have to start somewhere.⠀I talk to a ton of people who are looking to change the way they look and feel about themselves. And to most they truly believe that it will just take to much work, time + effort in order for them to lose the weight and feel better about themselves!
And YES I’m not going to lie it is all of those things. BUT it isn’t as scary or as hard as you have imagined it to be. It’s how we choose to look at it. Instead of telling yourself “I can’t do this….” or “I can’t eat that…” FOCUS on what you CAN do, small things you CAN change! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
Here are a few changes I made when I first started that have helped me. I believe that if you incorporate them into your life you will NO DOUBT see a positive change! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
1. Make a commitment to START: We’ve all been there right?! We are going to start Monday and then Monday comes and goes and we put things off and it never happens. This time I want you to have a firm belief in why you need to make a change. Get specific about what you need to do. Make a plan + take action! Not Monday, not next week, TODAY!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
2. Be Grateful: Having a gratitude attitude is KEY! Be grateful for what you are able to accomplish no matter insignificant you may think it is at the time. Thank yourself for showing up!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
3. Affirmations: Change how you are speaking to yourself. Be your biggest cheerleader. Tell yourself you CAN DO IT! + if you have a heard time silencing your inner mean girl LISTEN to a podcast, or recording of someone else to replace that negative voice + pump you up! ⠀⠀
4. Journal: This is very important. Journaling is a way to keep track of how far you’ve come and how much you’ve accomplished! Pay attention to the details. Where are mind goes out energy flows!! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
